Youtopie and the “linked-autonomy” model. |

|
This “linked-autonomy” model is very unusual for a person who has spent nearly 40 years in the traditional corporate environment. Here, I am completely autonomous, free to do what I want, when I want and I am totally responsible for my results. Yet, I am linked to other people and other companies in an informal way, and in ways that both support me andbe in ways where I support them. I give freely of my time to help these “partners” and they do the same for me. We help each other because we want to and because we can – we complement each other in many cases. We take pride in each others accomplishments and successes, regardless of whether they are for their benefit only or for all of our benefit.
In the corporate world you are “in a box”, only able to go so far in any direction due to the hierarchy of an organizational structure. In the linked-autonomous concept, there are no limits to what you or a combination of “us” can do and achieve.
We are all different; we have our own motivations and objectives and we respect these differences without judging them. We are sort of like the “ideal family”.
